What if I do not qualify for a Paxlovid prescription?

Unfortunately, at this time we can only provide Paxlovid prescriptions to those who qualify under their provincial regulations. Please click the button below to review the Self-Screening Questionnaire for your province prior to booking your consultation.

If you believe you do not qualify for Paxlovid, we recommend speaking with your primary healthcare provider for different treatment options.

If you’ve reviewed the Self-Screen Questionnaire and believe you are eligible for Paxlovid, we invite you to book a consultation with our Care Team. But please note that we do not guarantee a prescription and we will not provide a refund if you are deemed to be ineligible during the consultation. 

I’m Canadian, why do I need to pay for this?

Fees apply to our specialized practitioner consultation services that aren’t covered by government healthcare programs.

You may be able to be reimbursed by your insurer or employer benefits coverage.

How can I pay?

We accept all major credit cards.

Will my employer’s health insurance plan pay for my consultation?

RT Medical’s online medical consultations and memberships may be covered under your existing private healthcare plans, including Healthcare Spending Accounts. You’ll receive a receipt by email after you purchase a consultation. You may be able to submit that receipt to insurers for reimbursement. Please consult with your insurer or employer for more information.

When will my credit card be charged?

Payment is processed when you purchase your Post-COVID Recovery Package from our website. After purchase you will be emailed with instructions to book your initial onboarding session with our Virtual Concierge.

What is your cancellation, refund and rebooking policy?

If you have not booked your appointment you are eligible for a full refund.

Cancellations made before 24 hours of the appointment are eligible for a full refund.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment are non-refundable.

Patients who book a consultation and do not qualify for a prescription will not receive a refund.

Do you provide Emergency Treatment? Are there symptoms you do not treat?

This is a virtual clinic and is not intended for urgent or emergency care. Seek emergency medical attention if you experience new onset chest pain especially if it feels like heaviness or pressure, a rapid heart rate, bluish or grey lips, skin, or nail beds, new onset or worsening confusion especially if it’s paired with drowsiness or new headache, moderate to severe abdominal pain, new onset trouble breathing or shallow, rapid breathing.  

*At this time, we do not treat stroke recovery or abdominal pain.
